Hi all, I have been running Limewire 4.10 Basic for months with absolutely no problems. Then I got bored with wrapping all of the stacks of Christmas presents and decided to take a break and download some new music for my daughter. I got sick of that icon popping up telling me about the update to Limewire 4.12 and clicked on it to perform the upgrade. Since then I cannot seem to connect at all. I have been reading through posts and looks like others are having similar problems with 4.12 and are suggesting just returning to the old 4.10 version and uninstalling 4.12. But, not being a particularly computer savvy person, I have absolutely no idea how to do this. I searched my files and can only find the new 4.12 - does anyone know if 4.10 would still be on there somewhere and if so how I can go about finding it? I did check a bunch of the other stuff that the help screen told me to do - uninstalled and then reinstalled java reader, double checked to make sure that limewire was an exception on my firewall, all that jazz. I just want to get back to what I had before as it seems to be a bug in 4.12 that others are experiencing. Does anyone have any ideas of how they could help?
