ultrapeer problems (limewire 2)

alright well with limewire 2 and this ultrapeer thing, i only get 1 connection and its uploading only. I disabled ultrapeer and it still doesn't work i have it assigned to 5 connections and all i am getting is one upload (note: under protocol is says ultrapeer so i'm guessing it has to do with that) any ideas?

Ultrapeer problems...

I am having the same problems. I was running v1.7 forever without any problems, then I paid for Pro and I can't find anything anymore!!! I want my 8 connections back or I want my old version back and a refund.

Connection problems

I'm also having a proble remaining connected with more than 1 host. If I turn auto connect off and manually enter IP addresses I can sometimes establish a connection on my Mac. I'm glad I kept LW 1.7.

crappy limewire

wrf, I have this problem too. I ahve one win2k machine running the old client and mac os x next it running version 2. I can download almost nothing and in the connection tab I only have one connection and if I enable monitor searches, I got a search every 5 minutes on my machine, but on my win2k box, i have at leat 10 connections and I have hundres of searches on my box a minute whats up with this? Can someone help? So far, limewire sux. First its free, then they ad ads, now they are trying to et people to pay for it. You poeple please realize that in free open souce software, you don't make a little money, you make zero, so if you are going to give away free software, think about it first instead of releasing free first then adding ads and selling a different version. Where did you think you were going to get paid from? The magic money tree? If you can't afford to develop free software then don't even bother trying, sell it right off the bat. Sorry everyone, im just ****ed with limewire now. Also, the speed of your program is unbearable, especially on OS X.

UltraPeer - another 1 connex only

Add another one to the count--EvilPeer only allows one connection--period. OS X + LimeWire 2.02.

LimeWire may have come through with a solution, but it is only effective if you have at least cable. If it looks like it is working I will post it here tommorow.
