No luck, I did that and tried to reinstall and now I'm getting an error saying

Error opening file for writing one after another

the only thing that works is to abort the download

Well unistall it and start again using the offline installers...When you go to unistall it make sure you don't do it from the add/remove programs, use the limewire unistaller...

Thanks, I did use the offliner installer and I rebooted again and turned off Norton all together and was able to connect and download one song but then I tried to search again and there were no results that came up so its now coming up but not returnting any search results, any ideas? Also, I noticed on LW there was the blue ball at the bottom right with the brick wall in front of it, what does this mean? Thanks for your help!
