Why does "Add Gnutella Connection" not work?
 

Hi there,

I would like to use LimeWire in a private subnet which has no internet access, so no access to webcache or whatever.
So I thought that this should work by switching to the "Connections" Tab, and manually add a friend by pressing "Add....". A window apears with the title "Add Gnutella Connection".

However when I write the values in "192.168.48.175" and for port "25220" (this is the value shown in limewire options for incoming connections", I see his computer short in the connections list but then it disappears. Nmap says the port is open, we don't have any firewall.

Any idea whats wrong?
