![]() As a complete newbie I have been slapping myself on the back for the past 20mins having finally managed to achieve port forwarding through my router and get a connection with no bricks in front of my globe in the bottom left hand corner.. Iv'e made extensive use of the forums and their links to make this happen so credit is due to the groups.. But - why do I need to do all this ? when it does not appear to have made any difference to how the application works. And - now I have a port forwarded what happens to my PC when I am not running the application, can those nasty internet prodders and pokers unwind my system through the pinhole in my defences.. Ta, Andy |
