...unable to set up a port for incomming connections..?

Newbee question.

Ive had limewire forever and it always worked fine. I recently reformatted my hard drive and redownloaded Limewire but now it gives me a stupid message that says:

"Limewire was unable to set up a port to listen for incoming connections. Some features of Limewire may not work as expected."

And yes.....its not working well. Download time is pathetic.
How do I fix this???

I have all the info you need but Im uncomfortable giving it to you. How do I know this isnt a way to gain unauthorized access to my computer?

Im an experienced user of Limewire with a new problem. I went into the configuration box and noticed that there is an area where you can modify the port connection number but I dont know what port number I need to "listen for incoming connections".

Nothing on my computer is different than it was before I reformatted it and when I had limewire before.

Are there different port numbers I can try?

We are not mind readers here, I have no idea what your problem could be without some sort of input...

You know what !! this sort of stuff has been covered before, do a search and work out your own solution...
