Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? 3 other PC's on the same home network 12. Experienced user 13. Yes SO i have tried port forwarding and going into the router and making another open port for LW and configuring LW for the new port and such. My problem is that i get no host to connect to in the connections tab in LW. This LW is on my laptop and has not worked for the 3 days that i have had it. I have had no problems on my home PC. Funny thing is that it will find my home PC as a host and thats it. Can someone please point me in the right direction? |

![]() 1st, configure XP's firewall; Firewall configuration instructions (click on link). Now if you attempted port forwarding, (remember if you're running LW on more than one computer & each is port forwarded they must be PF'd with different ports ... not the same one. And PF must be done from each computer since PF is based around the comp's network ip), then you should also make sure you configured LW for Port Forwarding. Have you been to http://portforward.com/routers.htm to check your instructions or similar ones. |

![]() XP's firewall is configured and it allows LW to work, i guess but i still have that wall. I even followed the port fowarding instructions and still no avail. When i first start up LW it only tries to connect to the PC's on my network and thats it. |
