Port forwarding may not help as BT are known for throttling p2p (resulting in slow speeds). http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=228806 And check UKBob's posts here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...hlight=homehub How's your connection (how many green bars)? Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue globe)? If you're firewalled, check that you're not using more than 1 software firewall & configure that firewall to allow LW. If the BTHub supports UPnP, enable it within the router & then choose the UPnP option within LW's tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Apply to save. Or, if you do want to try port forwarding to get rid of the firewall icon... Find your router in the list here, then choose LW from the list of programs. http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm You'll find detailed instructions for setting up port forwarding. Don't forget the step of setting up a static IP address, if it's part of the instructions. Otherwise port forwarding won't work. Remember that LW's listening port & the port number forwarded MUST be the same;) |
