internet connection stops when i start limewire
 

PLEASE HELP i am running vista basic and i downloaded LimeWire PRO4.12.11 The problem is that when i start to run limewire my internet connection freezes and it tells me that there is not a internet connection or a firewall is blocking limewire. i have to restart my computer to get the internet connection back. i put limewire on the permission list for mcafee firewall turned off windows firewall, tryed to change the roughters but when i start limewire the internet still freezes. what else could i do

connection: cable
Modem: motorola sb5120
connect from: house
version of limewire: Pro 4.12.11
Java: standard edition 6
ISP: comcast
simple test: says "your test worked"
sharing the connection: no
new problem on new computer never a problem with old computer (windows XP)

If you're not going to use McAfee, make sure you turn your Win firewall back on & configure it to allow LW.
