Vista and McAfee don't go well together at all and HeatherDianeR is actually correct in what she has advised....

Mick is also right in saying that you have to run Java JRE...So seeing you have that part under control try using Heather's fix, it has worked for many...

But you also need to get an Anti Virus, there are plenty of excellent free one's....http://www.grisoft.com/doc/products-...g/us/tpl/tpl01 I use this one myself....

Also it's a good idea to have good spyware protection...
