Default won't connect .

I got a new laptop recently that has Windows Vista. I installed the latest Limewire on it but when I open it, after it tries to connect, this message comes up:

Your machine does not appear to have an active internet connection or a firewall is blocking limewire from accessing the internet.

But the internet connection is fine and I'm pretty sure Limewire is on the allow list of my firewall. =/ I can't download anything; it all comes up with 'needs more sources'.

Help?

Sounds like LimeWire is connecting try choosing files to download that have fewer sources 10 or less most of the files that have allot of sources are fakes.

Sorry I forgot to mention; the connection signal thing at the bottom left corner doesn't seem to get any higher than 'starting connection'.

What model# Linksys router do you have It probably has a NAT firewall in it that needs to be configured.
