Help Help Help!! (how to delete LW library)
 

HOW CAN I DELETE ALL THE ITEMS IN MY LIMEWIRE LIBRARY WITHOUT OPENING LW SO WHEN I DOWNLOAD LIMEWIRE IT STOPS SAYING UNPACKING FILES WHILE ITS ALMOST DONE DOWNLOADING? I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME ADDITION:bangh: :bangh: :bangh: :confused: :confused: :confused: :bangh: :confused: :confused: :mad:

Use Windows Explorer to delete any and all LW folders/directories.

UK Bob

start > run > "explorer c:\documents and settings\USERNAME\limewire\completed"

delete them all

it says its unavailable and might be on a different hardrive i only have 1 hardrive..the only reason why im asking is because i downloaded a virus off of lime wire and i know its in a specific file its in my share folder from lime wire and its from a song i downloaded the band name is Mighty Boss Tones...how might i get rid of this? everytime i try and delete the folder it says a critical error has cured and needs to shut down before i can delete it and my virus scanner i downloaded finds it but also says encountered a fatal error and needs to close before it can get ri of it so i don't even have the option of deleting it or quarenteening it. what can i do?:bangh: :bangh: :confused: :confused:

Try booting up in safe mode and run a scan from there.

If you can't figure it out try one of these help sites. They will be better able to help yao as they specialize in this type of thing.
