 This info does help me...It tells me you have a built in NAT Firewall in your modem/router....It also tells me that you will have to Port Forward to get the wall in LW to go away...So you see we don't ask these questions to just waste your time or ours.... Follow the instructions in this link and make sure you do the static IP or it won't work.... http://www.portforward.com/english/r...0/Limewire.htm

| Wow, that's a lot of work. I still can't figure out why the program when I conected wanted to use all of those different ports, but it was all very informative. That was a very usefull link. By the way, I turned on Windows firewall and paused my other one and LimeWire being configured to work with Windows had no trouble at all. I do not like W.F. so I will not use it for long though. I will get back to you if the forward does not help.  |
