Then one day it decided it was going to go behind the firewall...tried uninstalling & re-installing but now when I try to get into LW my screen goes dark then comes back with Everything Enlarged!!?? so I go and reset the resolution....LW is up but I can not get it from behind the firewall so alas I can not download anything...and the boy (I thought all teenagers knew about computers http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images...s/confused.gif
:confused:) tried to fix it and actually deleted all the good stuff.
any suggestions other than a new computer &/or tech lessons for the boy will be appreciated http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images...rolleyes_2.gif

Try this to fix the dark screen thingie:

1. Update your Java. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java version before you install the new one.

2. Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See points 2 & 3 below. This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards.
