osx problems
 

right ive been working on this for two days and just dont know whats up.....
lime wire installed and loaded succesfully. the window is open and the program is running ok. the only problem is i cant connect. no error messages or anything. i changed my firewall settings for my computer and no good. i go to File on the top bar, click connect and the red light at the bottom of the window flashes green for a second then rfeverts back to red.

please help cos this is driving me mad and i dont want to have to go some where else.

im running osx 10.4.8.

more info needed, because something is blocking your connection, and 10.4.8 is fine. The firewall in OS X is off by default, so that's not the problem.

Look for a router problem if you have one, or ask the ISP's help desk if you are allowed connections to the gnutella network for starts.
