You have to right click over the link and save target as.

Default Worked Fine -
Had some trouble finding the Limewire Preferences File.

It was located at:

Username/Documents and Settings/application data/limewire

Had to make sure that Limewire was COMPLETELY CLOSED!

yeah, I deleted the .limewire file, and now I cant open limewire. windows xp media. I get the the window asking me where i want it to save files to, click next and get a box for "miscellaneous settings" that has no next or back button and I have to click the x button.

About the problem with it not connecting:
I tried deleting the preferences, and I tried Limewhacko's method but it still achieved no results for me. I'm using Mac 10.2.8

Does not work! I feel I have just been ripped off for $ 18.88 for a program that does not work. I should have read the compaints on this forum before I paid the money.
