hey guys nicknj6 drowning (2 fingers) vista prem still looking for help on delete pref also over last week previous playlist from 1 yr basic use have started disappearing i've lost over 40 playlist and parts of library starting to erode i have norton ahhhh help me with this revenge of rod serling thanx

nicknj6, throwing my hat in the door i am really sorry for that self serving display of idiocy i need you guys to help me which you have been right on my medical restraints are my hill to climb not yours. i was not only frustrated but feeling quite deficient as well as not being able to deliver on the xmas cd for the gran kids if my thoughtless actions get me kicked to the curb i have to except that. ido wish to beg your forgiveness and would aspire to be a better forum member, really hoping to hear from you guys merry christmas, happy new year

I see you're using Verizon ISP.
Sometimes LW can be slow to connect. Especially if too many incomplete files flooding your modem/router. Disabling the Performance options & purging incomplete files sometimes does the trick. If LW Will Not Connect (click on the blue link). Sometimes the problem is fake/dud ultrapeers you connect to.

LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> System startup.

Oh auto connect .. sorry ... Tools -> Options -> Connections, check or uncheck Connect on start up.

no lord compacq presario sr5050nx using vista premium can't get much more tech eaited till i was 60 yrs to buy my 1st one after i hit adv the little tab that comes up is blank, there is something there but i only have vision in one eye and its not very good w/glasses hope that sheds alittle light nicknj6

might this be different if I use Vista? I can't even find the path you reference. I have nothing in my documents and settings that ends in .limewire

You can turn the vision of LW larger. Go to LW's menu bar, View menu, 'Increase Font Size'.
