| Do a search of your computer for limewire. There a folder called .limewire & that's the one you need to delete! Kill it rahhhhghghghghgh! |

 probs connecting with win 98 Hi all. I am only new to all this and reasonably illeterate when it comes to pc's. I downloaded l/w this am and experienced the kinda probs u have all referred to. I read most pages of this forum and pieced together this bit of advice. 1) i closed down l/w completely before trying the folder delete thing as suggested. 2) Located the folder vis "find" in the start up menu. Deleted it. 3) Still experienced probs but then went up to "file" on the l/w interface and clicked disconnect during it "trying" to connect. 4) I then clicked "connect" and within seconds found that it had connected to a "fair" reception. I am not sure if this is a perm or temp solution as i wasnt game to shut it down now I got it working but will keep u informed. |
