I believe it is yes. If LW was not compatible you wouldn't even be able to open the program. If you can't connect then it must be a different reason. What we need to help you is this: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) (we can't help without those details.)

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

I did a search folder for limewire and got about thirty files. which ones do i need and which ones do i delete? I just upgraded to pro because i could -n't connect and now i still cant.I also tried to stop the auto start and tips off but that won't help. I also turned off my fire wall still won't work

I tried the fix and it didn't work. It just re-makes the folder when you restart LimeWire. I cannot get a connection at all. I disabled the firewall and still have had no luck.
