There could be a firewall associated with the office's internet. You'll need to speak to whoever's in charge of internet at work & find out what the policy is on p2p use.
Many places won't let employees use p2p at work...make sure that you check it out

Thanks for the update.As said by i do not find a firewall enabled
This is because in the Control Panel when i checked the Windows Security Center it says NOT MONITORED.Please calrify on this.Also please let me know whether the other questions answered by me earlier did satisy your requirements

Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up
This was the question raised by you earlier but i was not clear about the same.Please elaborate on the same.

If you see the brick wall icon, that means that there's a firewall somewhere.
If there's no firewall enabled on your computer then the firewall's more than likely from within your office's setup. You must check this out with whoever's in charge of the workplace internet.
