I had a previous version of limewire working fine on a laptop and a desktop, downloaded the latest version and guess what, it wont download any songs! it just keeps saying connecting.

No firewall is detected by limewire (I've turned it off!)

its a moterolla and I know its fine since its been working for years

7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.) ?
shouldnt be an issue since its been working for years

8. What version,LimeWire & Java,Go to L/W's Help/About L/W, THIS show both LW & Java version.?
its the latest version off the homepage

9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider) ?
telstra and isnt an issue since I know it works elsewhere with the same ISP and I have had no dramas for years

12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user.?

Limewire is crap! there is no reason at all why it wont work any more

no one can explain?

Just try these fixes and see how they go Offline Installers
