Default V2.02 Leaves ALL the files OPEN !

I guess I've got the same connection problem with v2 that everyone else has. The last good version (with upload limit per person) was v1.6D

I noticed something interesting watching the LimeWire JAVAW.EXE using TaskInfo: Version 1.6D only has about a dozen files open when it runs... fonts, indexes, jar's, and the file its currently up/down loading

However: when version 2 runs, it opens and leaves open ALL of the files in the shared directory - 400 open files in my case. This sure looks like a programming error... you know: a loop to open and read each of the shares... except you're supposed to CLOSE the file when you're done with it.

This probably has nothing to do with the connection problem, but it may be an indication of the sloppy coding in the LimeWire client...

This might explain why my Win2000 computer's System Cache gets max'd. When I sit down to use the computer (after Limewire's been running exclusively for awhile), I have to wait and wait as RAM gets slowly transferred from System Cache to Available Memory (as reported by Task Manager).
