Hi Fat boy,
There's no firewall in your modem, so double check your Windows firewall config.
Firewall setup

Are you using AVG Anti_virus plus Firewall? AVG Free doesn't have a firewall
If you do have an AVG firewall, you'll have to either turn it off, or turn the Win firewall off...don't use 2 software firewalls together. Which ever firewall you use must be configured to allow LW.

Toucan are a Tiscali reseller. Heaps of people have had problems with Tiscali recently, so I'll give you some Tiscali info that might help:

Some people have found changing ports helps. To do this, in LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. There you can change LW's listening port. Good ones to try are 49152 - 65535. Someone recently got connected after weeks of pain using port 139. Have a read of these...

Tiscali & Limewire
can't connect between 5pm-11pm
I have found a solution to getting Limewire to work with Tiscali

Use the forum search to look for Tiscali, you'll find lots more threads
