Default What server IP Address does Limewire run on?

Hi, i've been having connection problems for a while and decided to contact my ISP, on doing this they sent me an email asking me ' what server IP address does limewire run on? and 'What ports does limewire run on and are they TCP or UDP? ' Ive looked everywhere for the answers to these questions but have found no answers. Please help! I havn't been able to use limewire through the day for the past 3 months from 2pm untill 12pm!

Hmmm... that sounds like your ISP is throttling connections at that time...
Limewire doesn't have a central server it's a p2p app, which means you connect to other users computers and file share...

Limewire runs on TCP and UDP...

Who is your ISP ??

my ISP is homecall......

That's what i thought with the server, i'll send them the details i have and see what they say. The guy i spoke to was really good and seemed think there was something that could be done, he just said that it was ' the busy time when lots of people want to use the internet' and ' it would be better if i could try downloading things at another time'

I work 8 till 6 most days so when am i supposed to use limewire?

As Lotr explained to you in this thread, Homecall in linked to Tiscalli and the only thing you will be able to do to get a connection during those hours will be to switch ISP's...
