Hey. Up until about two days ago i could connect with full connection bars. Nothing on my comp has changed since then, and I no longer have any connection. I have completely uninstalled, deleted all relevant files, and reinstalled limewire to no effect. I've tried manually connecting and everything. Nothing has worked. Any ideas? Oh, and when i look at the connections tab i have hosts listed. There are usually 9 there. They never last for more than 15 secs. I see 0 ultra peers, 0 peers, 0 leaves, and 0 standard. Whoopse, connections just dropped down to 0. I have nothing under my connections tab now. Searches bring up nothing. My comp definitely has the ability to run this, no prob.

Yes, LW does show a firewall, but I couldn't get that to go away or my connection to get better with my firewall completely off.
The test page said your test worked.

OH, i've just been fiddling around since i am a computer guy and i disabled up2p and i can see ultra peers sometimes now, I actually had one stay connected for 2 mins!!! then it died...

This is tricky because normally alot of schools block p2p and it could be by chance that yours has just started....
You could try changing the Port number to 64049, so try ticking the manual port forward box and enter that number and also enter that number into the listen port... Hopefully that will work for you....

rofl, i just did that last night. it was the last thing i tried.

my gf using osx still connects fine. i though that that might be the case too, the whole randomly starting now, but its not. We actually have a very loose computer use agreement. As long as we don't kill the university server they really don't care. I've also talked to other people who have said that LW just stops sometimes, and can take acouple days to come back

Give it a few days...I'd wait and see if the beginning of the month changes anything....If it doesn't and your other school mates are connecting fine let us know...
