Default Problems connection on Intel Max OS X

Hi,

I've just set up Limewire on my 6 month old Intel Mac. I've scoured the messages on the forums trying to find a solution to my problem, but have had no luck with any of the suggested fixes.

My system details are as follows:

1. Intel Mac OS X 10.4.9
2. No Firewalls as far as I know. The OS X one is turned off.
3. 1 Gb RAM
4. 165 GB Hard disk space available
5. ADSL
6. D-Link 504T Modem, and Netgear WGR614 v6 Wireless Router
7. Trying to connect at home, not through work or school network
8. Limewire 4.12.6; Java 1.5.0_07
9. Internode (Australian ISP)
10. Test worked.
11. There are 2 computers connected to my router, and as far as i know, the other computer is running Limewire without any problems (although it's a Windows XP)
12. Experienced user, but first time trying to run on new computer.
13. I have set up the port forwarding as suggested, and no longer have the wall in front of the globe. The green spot is always green, however I only see one small green bar in the connection status.

Also, I run Azureus several times a week and have absolutely no problems at all. I set up a special port for that, to get around the NAT problem, so am using the same port in Limewire.

I've tried trashing preferences, disabling the tips and manually connection, bu no hosts are showing up at all.

Do you have any other suggestions on what might be wrong?

Thanks so much for your help, it's greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. I just downloaded Frostwire, and managed to install and connect with absolutely no issues in a matter of minutes.
