A Compaq ?? Problem found ! Compaq is junk ... Not because I say so but because their tech staff is overburdened and they try to ship refurbished equipment . Works for me. That anger thing ..... is that Actors' Workshop, or just a personality flaw? I have never had any insurrmountable problems with my system, and, like a faithful girlfriend, I'm staying where I'm happy. Go to the gym, you need to work out your testosterone levels. Have a nice weekend. |

i did try Compaq Then damn puter was only a day old when this happened : Had to get a fire exstingher because the damn monitor blew up . And the ****s won't even refund me because , listen to this : I hosed the monitor down with a fire exstingher . Finally i said I would sue them and i promptly got a refund . Afterwards I found it it was a refurbish monitor . Refurbished equipment for a +2000 bucks system ?? |

There's this little credo that goes, "Caveat emptor" (or, let the buyer beware). Works for me *almost* always. Sorry about your lousy equipment, if they represented it as new, they owe you a new system. I feel like Asa Arons on WNBC in NYC -- he's the consumer complaint guru. One more credo: "You get what you pay for." Word. |
