Why is "Could not Download" so fast, 2.
 

when using 2, many files give a "could not download" within 9 sec or less.
is this just finding the truth faster than other versions would have.

LimeWire may not be this far along yet but if the host is completely unavailable (not on the network) or refusing the connection outright the download would fail faster to avoid hammering the IP. If the host is actually there but busy the download attempts would continue for a longer period of time.

This may not be case...but it is an idea.
