Inability to connect to Limewire I am contacting you to tell you that until last week, I was able to use Limewire. Now, I get the error no connection/no files to share. I have 176 files to share. Limewire will NOT connect. I get 1 little green connect box. I have used it for years to download music. What is going on? I have an iMac G3 OS 9.2.2. I have over 400 songs in my itunes folder. I shared my music. I have DSL. I am very angry that I can no longer download music from your site. Is this how you treat your clients? Please help. I miss my Limewire |

Victorian_Rose It is quite possible that your ISP is now throttling P2P usage, if you check the current discussion here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...ling-isps.html You will find that "P2P throttling" by ISPs is a worldwide problem. By the way, if you do a "search" in this forum for "Verizon", your ISP, I am sure you will come across other LW user who believe that Verizon is now blocking their P2P usage. UK Bob |
