Still no joy!! I guess it must be my ISP |
| ||||
I know its crazy, but if you can still use search, Find the files you want in the day, then set L/W to download through the night. Ring your ISP to clarify when is there peak time, its often different One other thing, roll back your java to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 12 the new one is not working for many. Now! Go to, START/Set Program Access/Change or Remove Programs, now completely remove all versions of java. Re BOOT Your computer NOW. Now! Use this Blue Link to get "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 12" Use the off line installer, NOT the (recommended) one, 4th one down. Java SE Downloads - Previous Release - JDK 5 When Download is completed. Disconnect from internet, close ALL apps n reinstall java. Fingers crossed, Peace.

I have been pulling my hair out over this problem for ages now so I am delighted to finally get it resolved. I am with Homecall, but I followed the advice given on here and entered the manual port 64049 and my problem is solved (touch wood). Thanks peeps! |
