Okay, this is what happened. I recently bought an iPod Video, so I tried to download a few DVD rippers, and they all wanted me to buy one. So I went on a few sites and downloaded a keygen for one (I think thats what messed my computer). Now my comp is screwed up:
Firefox will obviously connect, that is how I am writing this. MSN Messenger will work. I have tried everything from almost every forum, yet nothing is happening. SOMEONE HELP ME! I NEED MY MUSIC! Cheers Last edited by rush_fan1; July 3rd, 2007 at 09:34 PM. Reason: I forgot to mention... |

Which model D-Link do you have? Although the newest versions use UPnP, the older versions don't so port forwarding would be necessary. * Don't use the same port number as any other p2p program!!! Else, you will need to reboot computer or/& router to use LW. Did you configure your xp firewall? See User Cant Connect - LimeWire |

Suggestion of Last Resort Junior Member rush_fan1 You said: Quote:
Chances are that you will have to completely reformat your disk, possibly several times to kill the virus, and reinstall all your apps. Even if you run an AV now, to get rid of the virus, you are going to have a hard time finding and repairing the damage it has done, hence my suggesting of reformatting. Anyway, as mentioned in the title, only use my suggestion as a last resort. UK Bob |
