Firewall Problem, maybe.

Hi, this is our first post, desperate.

have 2 computers on our home network, Limewire works perfectly on one, but can't connect on the other.
Lime Wire used to work on the "bad" computer, but stopped, we upgraded to Pro but still no good.
It's the same modem, router, firewalls, and ISP for both computers.
Running XP home/SP2 on the non connecting one.
Limewire 4.12.14 Pro, Java 1.60_01.
Microsoft Firewall is dissabled, so is Comodo Pro, the other firewall.
The firewall icon in Limewire stays on and you get one bar and no connection.
Even dissabled the router firewall, no good.
Tried both port forwarding and UPnP, using 45420 as the port no. in the router and lime Wire.
We shut the "good" computer off, but still can't connect with the other one.
Tried the quick test link suggested on the forum, comes back O.K.
Any help will be very appreciated, thanks.

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

2. Try reverting your Java. Remove all versions of Java. Then install this one: Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

3. Don't use the same port as the other computer to connect thru. ;)

What model & brand of router are you using?

Yes, yes, yes, that was it. Deleting the LW prefrences folder solved the problem, very good, thanks.
