Angry I can only get one bar facs are not helping!!! HELP!!!

I have tried all of the facs and I still can't get connected. Will someone please help.

1. OS version? XP
2. What firewalls you have? Norton & Windows
3. How much ram? 256mb
4. Hard Disk space available? 60gb
5. Connection type? cable
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? linksys wireless-g WRT54G v2.2 &Motorola SURFboard SB5101
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? Home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. LW 4.12.11 & JV 1.5.0_03
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? I don't know but i used another computer on the same router and everything and limewire worked on it.
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? it displayed your test worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. i don;t know
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. ive been able to use it the first few months we had our computer then it crashed and we had to re configure everything
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? yes

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? i dont know
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Some people might not be aware that their security suite includes a firewall everything in norton
16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland). USA

Don't use the Windows firewall with the Norton firewall...they'll conflict with each other. Turn off the Win firewall & configure Norton to allow LW.

Update your Java. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java version before you install this one.
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Your router has a firewall. Try port forwarding, the instructions are here.
Port Forwarding for the Linksys WRT54G
Don't forget to set up a static IP address first (if you set up port forwarding for more than 1 computer, each computer will need a separate static IP). LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within a router all have to be the same number.

See how you go with that

hey i hav givven up trying to redo my computer, i have tried everything, i amgoing to use another computer that has windows ME and not XP, it seems to work just fine
