Firewall Problems
 

Ive started using limwire and its been working fine, but its since stopped.

when limewire opens and i try to start a new search it tells me that it is currently connecting to the network and my search may not return many results until it is fully connected, then the searches just stop and nothing happens :S

i checked my firewall and limewire is on the list of allowed programmes
and ive tried to add an exception for the gnutella port but my firewall (mcafee) doesnt seem to have anywhere for me to do this with the listening port

can anybody hellppp?
im really stuck, because it was working fine earlier :S

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
