![]() I have a Dell Computer running Windows XP with 60GB of free space. I currently have a Roadrunner Cable Internet Connection with a Scientific-Atlanta Inc. Modem. It doesn't say which type of modem it is but it has 5 lights (PC, Cable, Data Send, Data Recieve, and Power). The only light that is not lit is Data Send, while PC and Date Recieve both flash. I have no trouble using the internet and connecting, but I cannot connect to limewire and I have NO IDEA WHY! I turned off my windows firewall, so that wouldn't be an issue. Just in case, I also added the correct ports to the exceptions list in the firewall menu. I have no other security program installed on the PC. I checked with Roadrunner and they said that they have no proxies in place and that they do not prohibit or block the usage of P2P programs. I am OUT OF IDEAS. I am usually pretty good with computers, but I have no idea how to fix this problem... HELP PLEASE?!? (thanks in advance) |

![]() Oh Sorry, I forgot this info: I tried the test page and it said "the test worked successfully!" I also have 256 RAM... The only thing that I haven't tried is messing with Java because I am not sure what to do in regards to my Java. Thanks! |
