Well i previously had limewire the old version and my windows dimension xp

got the new 4.18.8 and everytime i search for music or anything

it says currently connecting 2 network your search may be limited.
But i have ISP internet service?!Pls Help anybody

sorry to barge in on your post but i'm having the same issues as you.

i have used lw in the past with no problems but it's been about 3 0r 4 months ago. now when i try to download i get the currently connecting message and nothing happens. all though i did get a search last night for ******** for my daughter, go figure. lol

700 something on ram
cable modem, with built in wireless conection (motoralla) not sure if i have ever downloaded with this new wireless modem, but i did get ******** last night so i know it will download.
the test page worked, i saw it.
i'm showing that firewall in front of the blue world icon. lw is on the exception list.
no antivirus/spyware installed
lw version 4.14.8 redownloaded last night
