Unable to find any songs to download
 

I downloaded Limewire on 01-19-02 and was able to download songs with no problem for the last few days, but now, it will not even acknowledge that songs are out there to download. This happened one other time and I just uninstalled LW and reinstalled it. Now that I have songs in my library, I don't want to lose any if I uninstall. What can I do other than uninstall and reinstall the program again? Is a firewall the problem, and if so, why did it allow me to download in the first place? Any help would be grateful!!

You shouldn't need to re-install and if you do, the files will not be overwritten.

Are you connected - the button in the bottom left should be 'green' if you are.

If it's 'red' you're not connected, go to File>Connect.

Perhaps your searching too soon. Try searching when you get more connections.. Look in Tools>Statistics
