ever since i upgraded limewire to the 4.14version it always says that, well wheh ever i open it up and then it opens, i open the search field and type in my searches. for some reason it keeps telling me after i type in a search.........

"Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search my not return many reults until you are fully connected to the network"

it has never done this to me before i upgraded it. can i download the previous version i had and just keep that one or will 4.14 be the only one i can download now? or how the hell can i get it to connect to the network? the first 5 secs after typing in SEARCH my search had hundreds with the old version, nut now it tells me that message above. i'm lost here. please help

is it pro or basic also what OS do you have windows xp or somthing else?

i have xp home for my OS and the version of limewire is basic.

ok try this go to my computer/(C drive/program files/limewire/.networkshare mabey the other versions there if it is just open it.

you went to program files then to .networkshare ?

i just fixed the whole problem. i went to the website for all of the older versions of limewire and found the version i had before the 4.14 which is the 4.12 and i downloaded it. it works like it did before. thanks a bunch for helping me with my issue mich.

i personally would recommend doing the same if anyone else is having the same problems with limewire's new version of P2P. posted here below is the link i found ALL the previous versions of limewire if anyone is interested.
