What version of LW are you using & what OS are you using?

Have a look at this post, it has basic instructions for finding the preferences folder in both locations (just in case you have 2 folders).

Make sure that you read the bit about showing hidden files & folders:)

Ok that's good, it means that you deleted the folder properly.

This is a link to download a gnutella.net file. Download this & save the file to your computer.
zSHARE - gnutella.net

Make sure LW's closed.

Go back to that LimeWire folder. You deleted it & now there'll be a new one in it's place. Double click on the LimeWire folder to open it. Inside, you'll see a heap of files like these
Attachment 3840

See the file called gnutella.net (or gnutella)...delete that one. Leave the LimeWire folder open.

Now copy & paste the gnutella.net file that you downloaded into that folder. Once it's in there, close all those folders that you have open. Restart LW.

Thank you so much. Did everything above and finally, after weeks and weeks, LW is fully connected. Thanks a lot
