Default Connection problems tooo!!!!

Hay all the Limelovers out there-- I used to have an older version of Limewire- worked great, basic, then went and downloaded the 07' version and all that keeps coming up is:

Limewire is currently connecting to the network- your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network--
Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it???

It's driving me insane because I can't download anysongs
Thank you!!!!
