Default Help Please!! (1 connection bar)

Hi Guys!!

Apologies if this has been mentioned before,

But I am having problems. Every time I go to search a song or file, that is all fine, the blue box comes up at the top and it moves across as the system is searching, HOWEVER nothing is actually come up in the box for me to click and download ( if u catch my drift)

I think this might possibly be a connect problem because in the bottom left corner of my page I only have one green bar, my internet connection has no problems at all and is excellence

How can I get a better connection?? Or is that not the problem?? It is strange because I installed it last night and downloaded about 5 or 6 songs without any problems

Thanks for any help, please do try and keep it simple tho! I cant claim to be much of a computer whizz!!

Thanks Guys,

Default Connection Bar remains at one

My limewire connection remains at one bar - this is not a result of a firewall or bad interent connection as both have been checked.
This problem seems to disappear and reappear every once and a while!

Here are the details you requested for the problem
1. OS version = windows XP
2. What firewalls you have = Norton Interent Security
3. How much ram = 2.00GB

DiskDrive1=HardDiskDrive D: FreeSpace: 238130 MB , TotalSpace: 238472 MB
DiskDrive2=HardDiskDrive E: FreeSpace: 728 MB , TotalSpace: 7116 MB

5. Connection type? = Broadband
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers = NETGEAR DG834G
7. Where are you trying to connect from = House
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have = 4.14.12
9. Who is your ISP = AOL
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? The test works
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? No
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. new problem with an experienced user.
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? = yes
14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? UPnP enabled
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Norton Interent security and I am aware there is a built in firewall
16. What country are you living in? United Kingdom

Hope you can solve the problem, Many thanks!
