Continuing Connection Problems I have had a MAJOR connection problem since purchasing LimeWirePro. I have done EVERYTHING that has been suggested by the support center. I have undone my firewall, adjusted my exceptions and still no connection. I have put proper info and port info Gnutella as well as both the AOL and Microsoft firewalls. Back about a week ago it worked for one day but after I turned my PC off and restarted the next day I've had no luck. I checked all my previous steps and all the settings were correct and allowed Limewire access to Gnutella. Ever since it stopped running all it shows is one green bar and the word "connecting". I keep checking all the recommended settings, turned my off and on each time after checking settings, and still it sits there like it was more comfortable being run on a Commodore 64!!! I NEVER had a problem when it was free. I've read all the threads applicable to my problem, acted on several that seemed like they applied to me, but still no luck. I have passed the point of frustration!!!! |
