Question Connection problems

Hi,

It seems to be a common problem here, and guess what? I, too, cannot connect to limewire.

1. I just downloaded v2.1 and installed it OK.
2. I am NOT behind any firewall and telnet as in FAQ returned "Gnutella OK".
3. I run Win2k.
4. I have no fancy ISP like AOL that tries to impose any kind of restrictions on my traffic or software.

I hope there is someone out there that can give me at least a hint as to how this problem can be solved.

Alex

When you run LimeWire, do you see any activity in the "Connections" tab on startup? Do you see any hosts listed that it is trying to connect to? By default, the connections tab is not visible. You can make it visible by going to the View menu.

Unhappy same problem

I've been using limewire at home for a very long time, but I just downloaded the new version on my PC at work and cannot connect. It doesn't even try to connect.

I would have loved to have upgraded to the Pro version, but I can't see paying for something that won't even connect when it's free. Please help get us connected.

Fast.

Thanks
