ok so i have windows vista home edition. everything seems to go right when i installed it and then when i turn it on it starts going and then at the bottem it says "Loading Internationalization Support..." and it just stays at that point. nothing happens after that. Then close it it just says its shutting down although it never actually does. I then go into the task manager and processess and try to shut it down that way. I dend the process and it goes away although the process stays there and never goes away until i restart the system!
PLEASE MAKE IT WORK!!!

Try changing Java versions. You can either update to the latest version here: Java SE Downloads or if it doesnt work try the older version here:-
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions before installing another one.

If this doesnt work delete yr LW Preference Folder
Preference folder in vista is found here
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\LimeWire ß(Preference Folder)

Note that this will change all of yr settings, you will have to go back in and reset them (LW -> Tools -> options)
