Not connecting...
 
Alright I have never had a problem with Limewire before but the other day it just will not connect to the network anymore. And now it has the brick in front of the globe saying I have a firewall on, which I don't. Heres the specs:

1. OS version? Vista - Admin
2. What firewalls you have? McAfee Security Center
3. How much ram? 3GB
4. Hard Disk space available? 103 GB
5. Connection type? Cable
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Motorola SB5100 Modem, Linksys WRT160N router
7. Where are you trying to connect from? house
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? 4.16.7 and 1.6.0_05
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Comcast
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Your Test worked!
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? no
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. new problem
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? _yes
14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? UPnP
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? McAfee Security Suite
16. What country are you living in? USA

hope someone can help me out with this.

Call your Isp It's been known that comcast is blocking or caping Limewire.They will not say they are.But i am sure that they are now.

Sorry but I work for Comcast and I also have the same issue connecting as these other folks; what is your source for this statement?

I don't have any secret knowledge about my company blocking Limewire. Can you please tell me where you got your information? If Comcast is blocking I would like to know.

I am not being argumentative or antagonistic - just asking.

I guss i was wrong i try not to be but in this case maby.But do you guys throttle the P2p.I here that they denie it.In a lot of cases.If you Look on the net you will find tons of sites that comcast do's denie doing these kinda things.
