Connection problems

Well now... I see that I am not the only one experiencing connection problems. I have been using Lime Wire for some time now and I have always been able to connect. For some reason, the program has been just running through all of it's connection hosts and the giving up. I have tried everything in my power to solve this problem... Now what.... ccolbert@cats.ucsc.edu

Are there any answers

Is it that there is no explination why my limewire 2.2 program isn't working or is it that the technical support for limewire is ignoring me. I would like to share my files with the rest of you all but my program still will not connect. I have done the telnet check and it came back ok. Limewire used to work back when it was version 1.7, what happened to the good program I remember enjoying. Limewire 2.2 for mac is a joke.....

You are not alone

I've had the same problem with 2.2.1 for the Mac. I've emailed tech support seeing as how I payed the $8.95 to buy the pro version. Their response was:

Have you tried the following though - go to
Tools->Options->Advanced->Port and change the value there to 10776 (or
some random number). Then hit OK/Apply and then try to connect.

Also, go to the connections tab and try to increase the amount of
connections you have.

Let me know if that works,
Zenzele T. Bell

Unfortunately neither of these suggestions did a thing for me. So, I responded and am waiting for a suggestion. Since the programmers have been fairly absent from the forums recently, I'll keep you all posted on any other suggestions they offer

Moak has provided a list of Gnutella Host Caches in this thread, it may help, I hope so:)
