![]() I would love to give LimeWire a shot, but I can't get past the red dot....but before you lable me as a complete newby, here is what I've tried: Trying, then deleting each Quick Connect address that comes with the program. Trying some other various connections to no avail. Running TelNet to ensure my ISP is not blocking, and lo and behold, it's not. I get a Gnutella OK message back when sending router4.gnutellanet.com:6346. Rebooting system. Disabling FaxSTF and all other similar files in the STF family. Blinking twice and rubbing my left shoulder. Still, all I'm left with is a red dot in the bottom left hand corner and a message under status that reads: connecting... I'm running: Mac OS 9.1 LimeWire 2.2.1 Cable Modem with service through Comcast cable. Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Steve |
