![]() Just upgraded to Limewire 4.18.3 from my previous version and upgraded to the latest version of Java. I didn't have any trouble running my previous version but with newly installed version I can't seem to connect. When I mouse over the connection icon in the lower left it says "You are currently connecting to the network." It shows that I have a firewall, but I checked and Limewire is a valid exception. Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions? Any more info needed? FYI, I'm running Windows XP service pack 2. Trying to connect to a home wireless network. |

![]() Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) ![]() Make sure you make a note of all your important settings first before you do this under the Tools > Options menu. After deleting the LW prefs folder you will need to reset them all. ![]() |
