Default Vista blocking Limewire Pro

I think that I finally found the solution. I had changed the settings on Windows Firewall several times and Reinstalled Limewire Pro just as many. Nothings seemed to work.

1. First I uninstalled Limewire Pro & Java.
2. Then I deleted every file (all songs, etc.) that I previously
downloaded from Limewire.
3. I changed my Windows Firewall back to it's original settings (default).
4. I restarted my computer.
5. I reinstalled Limewire Pro (and Java)
6. Go to 'Start' on the lower left; 'Control Panel'; Security; Windows
Firewall.
7. In the lower left of the windows firewall window, click 'network center'
8. On the right click 'Customize'
9. Click 'Private' ; 'Next' ; 'Close'
10. Click 'Media Sharing' and now you are able to turn on media sharing.
You can only turn on media sharing when it is set to private.
11. Close all windows. Find the Limewire icon on your desktop. Right click on the icon. Go to Properties. Click 'Compatibility' and check the 'Run program' and select 'Windows XP (Service Pack 2). Click Apply.

12. Restart Computer. Then try running Limewire. It worked for me despite the firewall it still detects.
