Limewire recently being useless! (search problems, low connection, slow downloads) Recently I have noticed a few changes to my connection to limewire: I am no longer classed as 'ultrapeer' I get hardly any returns for searches In the bottom left I have 3 or 4 green bars and i used to have 5 green bars with an 'excellent' connection My downloads are super slow and most downloads wont connect My limewire used to be fine, I have AOL and am using a netgear dg834pn router. P.S:I have forwarded all ports. Write back soon please. |

AOL rents lines from other ISP's. That's how they work. Also many ISP's in UK nowadays do have some kind of limit on p2p sharing ... shaping or ... time of day limits, etc. So with AOL you are never too sure exactly which ISP's real rules you are under. Most likely the most nearby one. |
